Authorities have identified the two people injured in a plane crash near Lake Tenkiller in eastern Oklahoma.

Authorities have identified the two people injured in a plane crash near Lake Tenkiller in eastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 75-year John McCreary and 85-year-old Albert DeMarco Jr. were injured when their single-engine plane went down Saturday in Cherokee County. The highway patrol said both men are from Ozark.

Witnesses at the airport reported hearing apparent engine trouble and saw the plane flying just above the treetops shortly before the crash. The plane was found in the wooded area of a pasture on Saturday.

Both men were taken to a Tulsa hospital and are in stable condition. Authorities don't yet know which man was flying the plane at the time of the crash.
