Locust Grove shaken after four teenagers seriously injured in pickup crash

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the pickup being driven by Dayton Brown failed to stop at a stop sign at a “T” intersection for an unknown reason and ran off the road, striking a tree head-on.

The teens were pinned for 32 minutes and were taken to St. John Medical Center and Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa in critical condition, according to OHP.

Greyson Knowles, 15, died Sunday evening, his high school baseball coach told the Tulsa World on Monday morning. Bill Hix described his former freshman player as someone who would do anything to help the team, including volunteering to keep track of statistics in the dugout.
