One person dies in overnight Tulsa wreck

Tulsa police say when first responders arrived at the scene, the vehicle was engulfed in flames. A vehicle heading at a high-rate of speed early Sunday morning, crashed near 31st and 129th East Avenue. "We pulled three occupants out of the vehicle and they were rushed to area hospitals," TPD said. It's believed the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, causing the vehicle to catch fire. The wreck happened around 2 a.m.

The car was eastbound on 31st Street when it left the road, flipped several times and hit a tree. Officer Leland Ashley said the wreck is still under investigation, but early reports indicate the driver was going at a high rate of speed.
