A Portland man is accused of crashing a stolen car and then running through a stranger's house and several yards while fleeing police Tuesday in Corvallis.

Teckenburg was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Tuesday afternoon and charged with unlawful use of a vehicle, first-degree theft by receiving, interfering with a peace officer, failure to perform duties of a driver at an accident scene, six counts of second-degree trespass, one count of first-degree trespass, DUII drugs and driving while suspended

Police: Man on drugs slammed stolen car into barrier in Corvallis

The car was reported stolen out of Hillsboro. Investigators determined that Teckenburg was speeding when he hit the barrier and he is suspected of being under the influence of unspecified drugs, according to police.
Joshua Teckenburg was allegedly driving a stolen car when he crashed it into a park in Corvallis. Bystanders helped Teckenburg escape the crashed car, but once he was free he took off running. Police tracked him down after he ran through a stranger's house and several residents' yards. He was arrested and then taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Authorities believe he was speeding when he crashed, and also believe drugs were involved.
