Pedestrian hit and run on Clatsop County beach; victim seriously injured

Fatamag described the pickup as a newer model 'lifted' white Toyota Tundra with black fenders and tinted windows. It also has a salmon-style Oregon license plate and a yellow "OREGON" sticker in the rear window.
Jalixan Fatamag, 22, was hit by a truck Sunday morning while walking on the beach by Gearhart, Oregon in Clatsop County. The incident occured around 7:30 a.m. when the driver of the pickup, a white Toyota Tundra with black fenders and tinted windows, was driving recklessly on the beach. Fatamag was hit and fell to the ground. He spoke to the driver before the driver sped away. Fatamag was transported to the Providence Seaside Hospital by ambulance, then air-lifted to Legacy Emanuel medical Center in Portland, where he is being treated for serious injuries that are not life-threatening.
