3 injured after Red Cross blood delivery truck crash

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Two people were seriously injured after a Red Cross blood delivery truck collided with a motorcycle in North Portland early Sunday morning. The delivery truck was heading north on North Williams Avenue and turned left onto North Monroe Street when it hit the motorcycle, police said. The man suffered life-threatening injuries and the woman was seriously injured. Officers were on their way to a suspicious person call at 2:41 a.m. when they saw the motorcycle and delivery truck had been involved in a crash, according to Portland police.
