Lisette Medrano-Perez, 25, and four children killed in two-vehicle collision on Highway 99E near Salem, Oregon

The Land Rover was heading north and the Buick was heading south. The two cars were negotiating a corner when they crashed, but the cause is still under investigation.

Authorities have arrested a Gervais man on suspicion of manslaughter, driving under the influence and reckless driving in collision that killed a mother and her four children.               

Investigators say an Oregon man arrested after a crash Sunday that killed a woman and four children had a blood-alcohol level nearly four times the legal limit.               

On Tuesday, Oregon State Police identified Lizette’s four children as 8-year-old Ricardo Medrano-Contreras, 6-year-old Andrus Medrano-Contreras, 4-year-old Dayanara Medrano-Perez, and 2-year-old Angelina Vazquez-Crisp.
