15 students injured when pickup truck hits bus in central Pa.

Fifteen students in central Pennsylvania were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after police say a pickup truck ran a stop sign and collided with their school bus.

“There were a few bumps and bruises,” said John Bowden, chief of finance and operations for the school district. “Everyone walked off on their own off the bus.”

The school bus, driven by 31-year-old Judy Fasnacht of Gap, was traveling East on Slaymaker Hill Road.
Elijah Williard was driving a pickup truck on Slaymaker Hill Road when he ran a stop sign and collided with a school bus. Fifteen students on board suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital to be treated. Everyone was able to walk off of the bus without assistance. This accident is still under investigation.
