UPDATE: Police ID victim of fatal accident in Lower Paxton Township

Lower Paxton Township Police have identified the victim of a fatal two car crash that happened this weekend on Nyes Road, near Locust Lane.

Police said they are investigating the crash in tandem with the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office and the county accident reconstruction team. A determination regarding who was at fault and whether criminal charges will be filed is awaiting the receipt of toxicology reports, they said.

Lower Paxton man headed to trial in fatal DUI crash

Homicide by vehicle and other charges are heading to court in the case against a Lower Paxton Township man accused of a DUI crash that killed a township woman last year.
A Toyota Camry and a Chevrolet Tahoe collided on Nyes Road, killing one and seriously injuring two. The driver of the Camry, Quang Minh Dang, and the front seat passenger, Thao Thiphuong Nguyen, were both seriously injured in the crash. Van Bich Thi Nguyen was riding in the backseat of the Camry, and he died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Tahoe, 38-year-old John Matthew Poyer, suffered injuries deemed less serious. All those injured in the crash were transported to a medical center in Hershey for treatment.
