One dead after car accident in Adams County

The coroner says around 11 p.m. two cars collided on Mehring Road in Littlestown. A female driver of one of the vehicles died, after being hit by another vehicle.

YORK, Pa. (AP) — An autopsy is scheduled for a Maryland woman who died in a central Pennsylvania crash. Fifty-eight-year-old Sheryl Walker died Friday night at a hospital from injuries she suffered in last week’s Littlestown crash. An autopsy for the Westminster woman is expected Monday morning. She was cited for driving the vehicle at an unsafe speed. They say she went into oncoming traffic and overcompensated upon returning, causing her to leave the roadway again.

Sheryl Walker, of the 1400 block of Brown Road in Westminster, Md., died later that evening in the emergency wing of Hanover Hospital.
