James Howard, Sandra's husband, was driving the van. He told state police that he saw Miller's car swerving into his lane and traveling toward him. James Howard said he pulled over to the shoulder to try to avoid a collision. He saw the passenger side of the Civic coming at him and hit his van.
Why every fatality from a crash is not legally a wrongful death
