Elser was traveling eastbound along Route 850 when his tractor-trailer collided with the tractor-trailer being driven westbound by Bryan Beaver, 26, of Trout Run, Lycoming County, police said.
Shalonis said Beaver's rig was carrying anywhere from 250-400 pigs that were about 35 pounds each.
