A Bedford County teenager, Jonah Kindya, 16, died in a train collision Sunday night.  His mother said he was driving for a friend’s house near his Hyndman home Sunday evening. A friend, Nic Smith, set up a fundraising account to help his family with funeral costs. Jonah was a junior at Hope for Hyndman Charter School in Bedford County. An administrator of Hope for Hyndman Charter School said grief counselors will be available for any students who need support in this time of tragedy. The circumstances of the collision have not been made known.
