Officials at Snyder Excavating in Jackson didn’t answer the phone today. A voicemail message says the company is closed to mourn the death of an employee.

So this was a pedestrian crash, but it was also an industrial accident.
30-year-old Josh Weyandt was lying between the wheels of a semi-truck to repair a broken airline hose, when a coworker who was unaware of Weyandt's presence began to drive the truck. The truck was driven 85-feet, and Weyandt was pronounced dead. Police are still investigating, but the coroner has ruled this death an accident.
