A West Virginia man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday in Cameron County.

Both Wagner and Burgeson were freed from their vehicles by members of the Emporium Fire Department.

Pennsylvania State police said Philip Wagner, 51, was killed after his pickup truck was struck head-on by a car driven by James Burgeson, 61, of New York. Burgeson crossed into the opposite lane of Route 120 at about 3 p.m. in Portage Township, Camerson County. Both drivers had to be cut free from the wreckage, and Wagner died from his injuries. Burgeson was flown to UPMC Altoona with severe injuries.
