The cause of the accident is under investigation.

VIGIL HELD FOR 2 MEN KILLED IN FIERY COBBS CREEK CRASH

A vigil was held Sunday night at 62nd and Walnut streets - the scene of the crash - in memory of Allen Reshay Pitt and Curtis Hanson.
Two people were killed and a third person was hurt after a car crash in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The accident happened around 2 a.m. Saturday when two vehicles smashed into each other at 62nd and Walnut Streets in the city’s Cobbs Creek section. According to the Police, the impact of the crash forced one the vehicles to flip over, which then caught fire with two people trapped inside and killed both people. The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Presyterian Hosiptal with non-severe injuries.
