Motorcyclist killed in Crescentville crash

A motorcyclist was killed early Sunday after a crash with a car in Crescentville. He was thrown from his bike and landed beneath a parked car several feet away. Investigators identified the man only as a 36-year-old from the 400 block of East Eleanor Street. The motorcyclist was reportedly popping wheelies while driving east along the 5000 block of F Street shortly after 3 a.m., when he struck a Toyota Camry as it pulled out of a parking space, police said. Medics took him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
