5-year-old girl struck in hit-and-run

A 5-year-old girl was struck by an SUV in South Philadelphia Sunday evening with the driver fleeing the scene. A 5-year-old black female was struck by a light-colored Jeep with a Pennsylvania tag. The incident occurred on the 2200 block of Lambert Street around 4:55 p.m. The victim suffered abrasions and possible head trauma and was transported to Temple Hospital by RPC 2213. No arrests have been made.

A little girl is hurt after Philadelphia Police say she was hit by a driver who sped off after the crash. It happened just before 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon in West Passyunk, along the 2200 block of Lambert Street. Investigators say the 5-year-old was hit by a light-colored Jeep with a Pennsylvania license plate.

Police are searching for the driver and vehicle that struck a 5-year-old girl in North Philadelphia.The accident happened around 5:00 p.m. Sunday on the 2200 block of North Lambert Street.The victim was taken by police to Temple University Hospital.She is listed in stable condition.Police believe it was light colored Jeep with Pennsylvania tags.Anyone with information should contact the police.
