The family of a Berks County man is offering a reward for information on the hit-and-run accident that left him seriously injured.

The family of a Berks County man is offering a reward for information on the hit-and-run accident that left him seriously injured.

21-year-old Mark Stitzer said the motorcycle crash left him in a back brace and destroyed his motorcycle.

It happened March 22nd on 9th Street in Reading.

Stitzer says the driver of a dark blue, four-door sedan in the left lane cut him off and his motorcycle started to skid.

Stitzer slid about 15 feet before his head slammed into the tire of a parked car.

Stitzer is now dealing with nine bulging disks and four compression fractures in his spine.

The driver of the sedan fled the scene.

Reading Police are investigating.

Stitzer's family members have collected $600 as reward money for information leading to the driver's arrest.
