Truck hauling grapes overturns on I-70 in Westmoreland County

“There was a car hauler parked alongside of the road. He was disabled, and his truck come up and clipped the side of him and wen up on the bank and rolled over,” said South Huntingdon Township fire chief Larry Nemec.

Interstate 70 lane reopens after grape truck crashes

Police say the tractor-trailer driver -- Chad Mathers, of Jefferson City, Missouri -- will be cited for not staying in his lane.
A truck hauling grapes on Interstate 70 overturned early Tuesday morning around 3:00 a.m., spilling grapes all over the road. The incident occured near mile marker 50 in South Huntingdon Township in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The truck driver was hurt, but the injuries were not life-threatening.
