3 die in crash on Interstate 70 in Washington County

Three people died in a fiery crash on Interstate 70 Friday in Fallowfield, Washington County, state police said.

Three motorists died in a flaming wreck Friday on Interstate 70 in Fallowfield, Washington County. A report to the media stated the driver was 57-year-old Frank Kramer, with two female passengers, ages 52 and 22. The injured motorists were driving west in a minivan on Interstate 70 around 9:40 p.m. Friday when they slammed into the rear of a tractor trailer operated by Yaw K. Oppong, 43, of Denver. The van subsequently crashed into the median and ignited. The tractor-trailer was pushed into a third vehicle operated by Thomas E. Evans, 60, of Luzerne, Fayette County. Authorities did not state whether Oppong or Evans sustained injuries in the accident.
