Patrick J. Polakoski, 24, Trevor A. Osselburn, 25, dead, Lindsey M. Grebner, 28, injured in head-on collision on Route 711 in Donegal, Pennsylvania

Two Somerset men were killed in a crash in Westmoreland County Saturday night. Polakoski and his passenger, Trevor A. Osselburn, 25, were not wearing their seatbelts and were ejected from the Saab, state police said. Lindsey M. Grebner, 28, of Donegal, was driving the Jeep and sustained major injuries, according to a news release. As he attempted to get back on the road, he lost control of the car, spinning counter-clockwise across the road into the southbound lane, striking a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee head-on. According to state police at Greensburg, Patrick J. Polakoski, 24, was driving a 1999 Saab northbound on Route 711 in Donegal when he went off the side of the road on a curve.

Police said the car was heading north on Route 711 when it failed to negotiate a left curve, crossed the center line and was hit on the passenger side by the southbound SUV. Police said 25-year-old Trevor Osselburn of Somerset and 24-year-old Patrick Polakoski of Somerset were thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner's office said speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash, and neither victim was wearing a seat belt.
