Man killed in fiery three-vehicle crash in Bellevue
“The tire blew off and it was just screeching, sparks flying back, and the van, the engine compartment just immediately caught on fire,” said Matt Brind'Amour, who was stopped in his vehicle at the intersection.

A man died Saturday night after a fiery three-vehicle crash on Ohio River Boulevard in Bellevue. The crash happened about 7 p.m. at the intersection of Kendall Avenue and Ohio River Boulevard. A minivan, an SUV, and a passenger car were involved in the fatal accident. A witness said the van crashed into the SUV, which was shoved across the intersection and into the third vehicle. The drivers of the SUV and the van were taken to local hospitals. Lawrence Evans, 67, was later pronounced dead.
