Woman killed in Indiana Co. 2-vehicle crash, husband flown to hospital

State police said the 39-year-old driver is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, though toxicology results are pending.

DUI suspected in fatal Indiana County car crash

The accident occurred, police said, when a 39-year-old man pulled out of a parking lot “directly in front of northbound traffic,” and into the path of a car driven by a 79-year-old Clymer man.

Woman killed in DUI crash

The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Route 119 in Center Township.

A woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Route 119 in Homer City, Friday evening. Madeline Ralston, 75, of Clymer, was a passenger in a car driven by her husband when it was struck by another vehicle driven by a 39-year-old Indiana County man, who pulled out of the parking lot of Sanso's Italian Deli when the crash happened. Ralston was pronounced deceased at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Her husband, 79, was airlifted to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown with serious injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to Indiana Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
