Three killed in vehicle crash in Armstrong County

According to the Armstrong County Coroner'€™s office, a Chrysler sedan driven by Gregory W. Johns, 46, of Worthington, Armstrong County, collided with a Subaru Outback driven by Alex Jonathan Davis, 21, of McGrann, Armstrong County. Two people in that third vehicle were transported by ambulance to Armstrong County memorial hospital with minor injuries. Davis'€™ vehicle, Michael Danahey, 26 of Kittanning, Armstrong County, was airlifted to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh with what the coroner reported as severe injuries. Three people died in an early morning crash on State Route 28/66, in Manor Township, Armstrong County, possibly the result of one of the vehicles traveling the wrong way on the divided highway about a half-mile south of the Route 28/66 interchange with State Route 85. Also killed in the crash was Francis Joseph Danahey Jr., 27, of Verona.
