Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Beaver County

After being hit, the man left the area, but was found in the 1400 block of 4th Avenue with cuts to his head.

Pedestrian struck in New Brighton, flown to Pittsburgh for treatment

A pedestrian was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital Monday night after being struck by a motor vehicle in New Brighton, police in Beaver County said.
A 29-year-old woman was exiting the Valley View Gardens apartments on 5th Avenue at about 8:45pm when she struck a 26-year-old male pedestrian. The driver immediately stopped and contacted police, but the man who was hit had wandered off about four blocks, injured and confused, until he met with a friend and police found him. He was then taken to a hospital in Pittsburgh via helicopter for treatment of head injuries ad lacerations.
