Carl English 15, Akeyba Sanchez 15, arrested on multiple charges after colliding with car they had robbed and car-jacked the day before.

Two teens were arrested Wednesday after a police chase ended with the teens crashing into the very pizza delivery driver they allegedly robbed and carjacked at gunpoint the night before, police said.

The delivery driver chased the teens down and tackled them after the crash in the Spring Garden area, Pittsburgh police said.

Two narcotics officers spotted a stolen car around 4:15 p.m. in Spring Garden and tried to stop the car, which was driven by North Side 15-year-old Carl English, police said.

The car took off and was chased for several blocks until they approached Spring Garden Avenue, where the driver tried to stop but slid on snow and collided with a car driven by a Riviera Pizza & Pasta delivery driver who was the victim of Tuesday night‘s carjacking and robbery in Northview Heights, police said.

English and another 15-year-old from the North Side, Akeyba Sanchez, ran from the car, police said. The victim of the carjacking, Inomjon Madumarov, then chased the teens and tackled them, police said. The officers then arrested English and Sanchez.

Madumarov had been driving around in another vehicle looking for his stolen car when he spotted it with the suspects inside being chased by police who recognized it as the one reported stolen.

"Undercover was chasing this gray car behind you and basically forced the car out of the way as another pizza shop car was coming here," said a witness. "The gray car hit the pizza shop car. The pizza shop guy got out of the car and chased him as this car started drifting. I got in it. Put it in park and by then, they got them."

Sanchez and English were charged with robbery, robbery of a motor vehicle and criminal conspiracy.
