Man and child seriously injured after Conemaugh accident

The driver, Michael Snyder, 25, of Saltsburg, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital and the girl was taken to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, a news release said.

The driver, Michael Snyder and a 4-year-old girl were taken to the hospital with major injuries after a single-vehicle accident on Route 286 in Conemaugh, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The vehicle, had been traveling eastbound on Route 286, failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway and veered off the road. The vehicle striked a utility pole and a private residence before comming to a stop in the private residence's yard. Michael Snyder, 25, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, and the young girl was brought to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, according to the release.
