The crash occurred at about 11 p.m. along the westbound lanes of the turnpike near mile marker 192 in Fannett Township, a few miles from the Kittatinny Mountain Tunnel, police said.
The rig driven by a 32-year-old man from Colorado lost power for an unknown reason. Police said he then tried to "coast to the shoulder of the road."
