2 dead in I-80 pileup involving as many as 60 vehicles in Pennsylvania

Police said the two people died after 30 to 60 vehicles were involved in a crash that happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 80 in Clinton County. Pennsylvania State Police said initial reports indicated there were also multiple injuries.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday between the Loganton and Lock Haven exits.

Crews working on clearing scene of deadly car pile-up in Pennsylvania

State Police say they currently have as many troopers on the scene as is safe and possible — and are working with a number of tow trucks as well to try and clear the area.
