A 10-year-old boy has been admitted to Geisinger Medical Center near Danville after being run over by one of the floats in the Anthracite Heritage Festival of the Arts parade Friday evening.
The boy, who was not identified, was running along the float carrying the Mother Cabrini youth baseball team, city police Officer Brandon Cohick said.
