The crash occurred around 2 p.m. As of Thursday night, the victim’s identify had not been released as authorities were still trying to notify family members, Luzerne County Coroner Dan Hughes said.

Timms was driving a Chevy Blazer that was struck on the driver’s side by a Cadillac Escalade that went through a stop sign at Route 11 and East Butler Street shortly before 2 p.m.
