Police say Trooper Alexander Barretts, 23, of Selinsgrove, was driving a marked patrol vehicle on SR 522 with the emergency lights and sirens on heading to a crash around 8:40 a.m.
Another vehicle then pulled onto the state route from 1st Street and collided with Barrett.
