The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified a man who died Monday in a wreck on Interstate 26 as Gaspar Klamar of West Ashley. Klamar, 86, was driving a 2006 Ford truck on the highway's eastbound lanes when he lost control at the 213 mile marker around 11:15 a.m., authorities said.

A 2006 Ford truck was attempting to exit at the 213 mile marker when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree around 11:15 a.m., Highway Patrol said.
According to authorities, Klamar died at the scene of blunt force trauma. A passenger was transported to hospital for treatment. Both people were wearing seat belts.
