Teens injured in off-road incident off Highway 17
Officials with the Awendaw McClellanville Consolidated Fire District say two teens were hurt in a late-night crash in the area of Highway 17 and Ion Swamp Road Saturday.
Crews were dispatched at 10:41 p.m. and found an SUV overturned in the swamp about a mile from the intersection. The injured teens inside the vehicle were able to crawl out and walk to Highway 17.
