According to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, three people were transported to the hospital and one was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second person has now died, according to Charleston County Sheriff's Lt. Rita Zelinksky.

The coroner's office says the driver, Henry Gaskins, 62, of Cordesville, died at the scene. A passenger, John Martin, 62, of St. Stephen, died later at a local hospital.
