Police: Man arrested for DUI in wrong-way accident on Ravenel Bridge
Police initially responded to a report of a head-on collision in the southbound lanes of the bridge at around 11:35 p.m. Friday. The other driver told police he was driving south on the southbound side when he saw headlights approaching him from a vehicle traveling north in a southbound lane. The driver said he swerved to the left and that Jenkins' car struck him on the right side.

According to police reports, Jenkins admitted to having three or four beers while at a downtown bar, and was being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center. The other driver sustained minor injuries in the accident and later sought medical attention.
