Fatal Hit and Run in North Charleston
Authorities tell us that the collision between a car and a pedestrian happened at around 3 p.m. Monday afternoon outside the Northwoods Mall food court.

Deputy Coroner Kimberly Rhoton said Billy Vaughan, 45, of North Charleston died at 2:31 p.m. at Roper Northwoods Hospital from his injuries.

According to the affidavit, Vaughan jumped out of the truck and Williams "willingly" ran him over before leaving the scene.
