Teenager identified in fatal Wasmalaw single car accident
A single car accident occurred in Wadmalaw late Saturday night, according to deputies.
Malaysia Grimball, 16, of Wadmalaw Island, died on scene according to the Charleston County Coroner's Office.
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office arrived on scene, the area of Maybank Highway and Liberia Road, shortly after 1:30 a.m.
According to initial reports, Grimball ran off the shoulder of the road and collided with a high voltage power pole.
