Coroner Gary Watts says 55-year-old Jerry P. Hull of Florence was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene on Bookman Rd. about three miles west of Elgin at about 6 a.m.

Hull's bike veered off the road, hit a sign, and flipped several time. Hull himself was unfortunately not wearing a helmet.
