State troopers say the vehicle was traveling north on Congaree when it drove left of center then overcorrected, causing the car to roll. The driver of the vehicle was ejected and died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The vehicle was traveling north at about 11:40 p.m. on Congaree Road near Goodwin Road when it went left of center. Police report that the driver overcorrected, causing the car to overturn. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the car.
