Lexington driver killed in crash on U.S. 1

The Lexington County Coroner has identified the driver killed in a crash on U.S. 1 in Lexington County Wednesday night. 

SCHP: One person dead after 2-car accident in Lexington

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 66-year-old was driving a 2007 Ford Pickup south on US-1 around 8:40pm Wednesday, and hit a 1986 Chevy, who was attempting to turn north on US-1.
Corey Trawick, 32, of Lexington, was killed in the collision which happened at about 8:40 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Trawick turned onto U.S. 1 from Bruton Smith Road and collided with a vehicle traveling south on U.S. 1. Trawick was pronounced deceased at the crash site, and a passenger in Trawick's vehicle was injured. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
