Woman Thrown from Moped; Run Over in Double Hit and Run

Following the initial collision, officers say the woman suffered life-threatening injuries after another car, possibly a silver older model Oldsmobile, ran over her and also left the scene. 

Woman run over in hit-and-run moped incident dies, suspect arrested

Seventy-two-year-old William Washington was arrested Friday as the person accused of running the woman over. Washington is charged with felony hit-and-run and failure to render aid and providing information.

On Thursday evening near the 3400 block of Two Notch Road[1], a GMC Yukon hit Walker and a 54-year-old man while they drove a moped. The driver of the GMC Yukon fled the scene. 

Second suspect in deadly hit-and-run moped crash arrested

Hall is accused of driving the black GMC Yukon that struck the moped first, unseating the driver and Edwina Walker, who was the passenger.
