Driver Dies in US 76 Collision

The 2001 Ford SUV overturned and hit a tree. 

Coroner identifies driver killed in crash in Lower Richland Co.

The crash occurred on Garners Ferry Road near Claremont Road in Eastover just after 9:30 p.m.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a driver was killed when an SUV collided with a tree on US 76 Tuesday night. The driver was wearing a seat belt, but was pronounced dead at the scene near the Sumter County line. He was later identified as Terrance Walker, 23, of West Columbia. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
