26-year-old identified as victim in fatal collision
Deputies have identified the victim in a fatal collision that happened early Sunday morning in Kershaw County.
Joshua Dawkins, 26, of Elgin lost his life Sunday morning after hitting a tree.
Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say Dawkins was traveling north on Longtown Road in Ridgeway when he ran off the side of the road and hit a tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to troopers.
