Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said a Dodge pickup truck crashed into the back of a moped that was carrying two people causing both of the riders to be thrown from the small motorcycle.
Truck hits moped, killing 1 and injuring 2
Lance Cpl. Matt Southern with the Highway Patrol says the moped's passenger died at the scene. That person's identity has not been released.
Moped passenger dies in U.S. 321 accident; two injured
The passenger was declared dead at the scene and was wearing a helmet. Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified the victim as Jessica Lynn Dunn, 26.
