Man killed in hit in run was just released from jail
Jail records show he was released from the Anderson County Detention Center less than an hour before.
The victim was walking east on State 86 in Anderson County at about 8 p.m. Tuesday when a pickup truck veered off the side of the road, hit Varick Scott Kimbrell, 43, and collided with a fence. The pickup then left the scene of the accident, but a witness was able to get the truck's tag number, and the driver was identified as Jason Yeargin of Piedmont. Yeargin was charged with felony DUI and hit and run involving death.

Jay has done some messed up stuff as all of my other friends that died that went to Wren between 92-99. I will pray for the mans family and Jay also. He may get out but it will be a huge bond.

He is out of jail and I just heard that he had a wreck on his motorcycle at 4:30 today. Heard he is in hospital. Wonder if alcohol and drugs were involved again. He also wrecked his black truck a couple weeks before the hit and run.
