Motorcyclist dies after colliding with pickup

A motorcyclist was killed late Thursday night after his bike collided with a pickup truck in Laurens County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The Laurens County coroner has released the name of the person killed in a motorcycle wreck late Thursday night on Currys Lake Road.

A motorcycle, driven by Bobby Joe Crane, collided with a pickup truck, driven by Scott Douglas, late Thursday night on Currys Lake Road in Laurens County, South Carolina. The cause of the crash has not yet been released. Crane was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. Douglas and the two passengers in the pickup were not injured.
