Crash kills 1, injures 2 including child, troopers say
The crash happened at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday on I-26 eastbound at mile marker 61 in Laurens County, LCpl. Gary Miller said. He said a 1998 Kenworth truck tractor and a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV were involved.

One passenger in the SUV died at the scene of the accident. The Laurens County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Margaret Brookins, 46, of Sumter.
