The driver of a 2001 Toyota is dead after a one-vehicle accident on Reno Road in Laurens County early Friday, a Highway Patrol spokesman said.

Coroner Nick Nichols identified the victim as 21-year-old Alexis Ashley, who lived a short distance from where the crash happened on Renno Road.
Nichols said the wreck happened just after 6 a.m.
He said the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head and body.
Nichols said Ashley was pronounced at the scene.
